This is for a friend's daughter who just had a baby girl. I drew the basic butterfly by hand and then used templates to fill in the wings. The caterpillars are appliqued. I think this is my favorite that I've done so far.

Love the quilt. You did a beautiful job. I have the same problem with the marking. I was told they are suppose to disappear as you sew over it. It look awesome.
