I thought I would share my progress, as well as, get your layout opinion. If I do the entire thing with blue print windows, it is hard on my eyes; too busy for me. So my thinking was to break it up and put Muslin in some windows while still using the contrasting thread color for interest. In this photo, the windows aren't completely finished. I would like your opinion before I "commit" myself to this idea. Please keep in mind, this is far from perfection. I am having trouble getting crisp corners on my windows even though I am constantly pressing as I go. I have more blocks done that I haven't added. (24 done all together).
This photo is 4 (4-block units). I thank each and every one of you in advance for your input!

It's lovely, and will make for a beautiful quilt when you get all 24 block sets put together.

The break in the pattern does give a nice touch to the design. Well thought out, on your part!

I love the Cathedral Window. You have a nice color design too. I think I would add the white to give it some contrast. I am working on a green base quilt for my Granddaughter and the green does get to me some days.

Again beautiful work.

That is awesome! We are having a teacher in to teach Cathedral Windows by machine and that is exactly what I had thought to do! Of course it was all in my head and now I am sure that is what I want to do! I think breaking the pattern up is a wonderful idea. I am going to use a contrasting color but the muslin works so well.
