Looks like you have a great quilter in your midst. He did a wonderful job and should be very proud. You are going to have a quilting companion and are so lucky.

And just why are you proud? Because your son is so thoughtful and considerate that he took time out of his summer fun to make a quilt for an elderly relative? Or that he took the time to customize it to her liking? Or that he made a quilt, which just happens to be your passion too? Or that he was able to do it by himself? Or that he did a wonderful job on it?
