Charity Quilts
 

I sewed 6 quilt tops at my last retreat. Yesterday, I got two of them quilted. I used the serpentine stitch on my machine elongating it some and as wide as my machine allows 7.0 . Since I hope to turn them in on Monday, I'd better get going on the rest :)
I love that there are hearts on the backing as these are for the local cancer center

Nice! I love the colors you chose for the first quilt.

Such a worthwhile project. Do they require a certain size. Lost two of my best friends to cancer and would be interested in making some for our local hospital. Thanks, grammasharon

Those are lovely. The serpentine stitch looks great.

I called the cancer center to ask what size they prefer... the centers are not all the same. Our center prefers 3'x4'. I also make knit and crochet ones for them because I can do that lying down when I'm resting.
