You are so sweet to do that, and you are SO talented. The children will be so pleased to get those.

Those are all wonderful!

I like your term 'snuggle quilts' ever so much better than 'charity quilts'

What are the approximate sizes of them?

Bearisgrey I make them approximately 50 x 60 inches which I think is a good size.

Your quilts are amazin'! Each one is so different, ( & cute.) When did ya do all o' these?? Wow ya are so productive.

Dublb I made these this year in between the Pony Club Blocks and other quilts I made. My DS calls my sewing room the factory floor:D

You are so sweet. I know that the kids will love these. My daughter was diagnosed with Crohns over a year ago. The one time she was in the hospital for over 2 weeks. She got a pillowcase(from the pillowcase challenge) and she loves it. They have people that donate crocheted throws and small quilts too. She keeps them all on her bed at all times. Now, she we can make her anything she wants and she prefers these to everything else. I think it's a wonderful program. I donated a bunch of pillowcases before and I have a few quilts started to donate also. They even gave small quilts to my other kids(which they did not have to do at all) and they sleep with them over their pillows every night. Even something small means so much to a child. After seeing what my daughter and other kids were going through...I see why they like them so much. It lights their day to get a gift like that when they are feeling so down or in so much pain. I stand up and applaud what you are doing.

Pattia 12-16-2012 08:10 PM

those are beautiful and such great work. Some may have wanted to submit a quilt or two to charity, but you have gone above and beyond by the sheer number and the caring detail work that you shows you care on each and every one.

nunnyJo 12-17-2012 03:45 AM

how sweet, blessing for you

institches33 12-17-2012 04:18 AM

You have the true spirit of "snuggle" quilts. Quilt something you would love to have your child or grandchild receive and not just scraps thrown together. You made truly beautiful quilts with a lot of thought and creativity. Merry Christmas to you!

maryellis 12-17-2012 04:31 AM

Love them all, but the last one is my favorit. Where did you find the pattern for it. I would love to make one for my son.

These are not just quilts, but works of art.

Your quilts are great and you are an inspiration. I would love to know where you found all the cute embroidery designs. I haven't seen any like them - they are perfect for using on quilts for children. I just wish I had the time to do as many as you have done - maybe one day when I retire.

These are adorable!!! I love the Farm Animals, was that a pattern?
If so, what is the name of it. My GD is having ababy in March and
she loves cows!!! keep up the good work.

fmhall2 12-17-2012 09:32 AM

Beautiful work. Love them all, but especially the airplanes, since my husband is a pilot, and we used to have our own plane - in fact we flew to work every day (lived 110 miles from where we worked) so kept an old car at the airport near our work. What fun. So I do love airplanes.

tapngram 12-17-2012 11:32 AM

Love all the quilts, you are one special lady. The children will cuddle till their hearts content with these.
