Charm Square Bags
2 Attachment(s)
Two bags I made using the Missouri Star Charm Square Bag Tutorial. I am addicted to these!!!
These are very pretty. Thanks for posting. I have made only one of these, in civil war charms with a zipper middle compartment. It has traveled with me across from California to N.Y. I love her tutes!

Cute! THanks for the heads up on a new project or two!
Very nice......
nice love them.
very cute bags.. like the fabrics you used in the first picture.
Very pretty bags. I love them.
I have never made a bag until I followed this tutorial. It was sew fun and I actually did it!! I made a little larger one, using 9 squares on each side. That worked out great too. Love your bags-they are sew cute!!!
I love that video - I have made 3 so far for gifts. Your's came out great.
very pretty bags!!!!
I love your bags! I know what you mean about their being addictive. I have made over 50 of the charm square bags for my daughters, granddaughters, granddaughters' teachers, and foster children. I kept only one bag for myself. Now I want to make more bags as I'd like several bags for myself. Thanks for the pictures of your bags. They are so pretty!

Very nice. I think I recognize some of that fabric.
I love these, esp the pastel one! I just got the Tumbler bag pattern and all the fabric to make my DD and DDIL one for Christmas. I'm wondering if anyone has made both and what you think about using batting vs the interfacing (as on the Tumbler bag)? I think I'd like one with a zipper closing and found a video on YouTube on how to put a zipper in any bag:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dnvM41V-3E She has several videos about making bags that look helpful. I'm going to have to make this one too!:) |

Prefer the 2nd color bag, but both beautiful and handy...
Funny how the both look so different because of the fabric you used. I actually skipped this video because I didn't think I would like one of those bags...boy was I wrong! I love both of yours!
Those are so cute! Some day I may have to try one.
Those are beautiful!!! I have been wanting to try these and now you have given me
the incentive to do it. Thanks for sharing. |

Great bags, I haven't tried the charm square bags yet, but I'm somewhat addicted to the Bow Tucks bags, I've probably made and sold about 25-30 of them in the last 2 years. It's a great way to make some extra money to buy more fabric and support my quilting habit. Thanks for sharing.

here is another good tute on how to add a zipper https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duEXdnJCcRU

Very lovely bags. I like the long shoulder straps.
