I used 3 packs of charm squares for this quilt. I put 9 squares together and then cut through the middle both ways and put together randomly with the rest, and this was the result. the second picture is of my boarders and binding placed in that order.

I love it! SO, SO beautiful! It has such an old world charm (no punn intended... lol).and the pillow shams are dreamy. Great job!

I like it! What dimensions are the pieced section? I was thinking of doing something like this with my squares.

lets see the charms were 5"x 3 giving us 15" minus the seam allowance x 2 now giving us 14" x 14". Cut in half both ways gives us a block measuring 7". Put back together the finished squares now measures 6.5". When the boarders are on the finished quilt should measure 65 x73 or close to that. It was very quick and easy!

Thank-you, I thought the fabric was dreamy too! Thats my spare/sewing room...the bed acts as my design board. I made matching curtains to go with the shams and I made curtains for the closet with a nice wide boarder of the same fabric at the bottom.

A nice scrappy disappearing 9 patch.....just about my favorite pattern for quick quilt!!! I love the colors, too. Very nice.

Great job... Love how this turned out, It's fun making quilts randomly that way. You did a very nice job, and the colors are great together too.
