If seams are pressed to the dark side, it is easy to nestle ( or it the correct word "nest"?) the seams together. This way, they match nicely when they are sewn together.

I like the use of the white fabric to make the color charm squares pop. Did you make 4 patch blocks and sew them in rows or did you sew single row of blocks and join the rows together? You sure are good at matching seams.

I did 4 patches and then made rows.I like a nice simple look sometimes-kinda old fashioned looking

I love quilts like this. My Granny made lots of quilts like this and we would look and find fabric from our dresses she had made, or maybe pajamas. One of my favorite memories. Yours are beautiful too.
