Checkerboard Dresden

I saw Jenny Doan making the Checkerboard Dresden and thought it would be a good way to use up some orphaned jelly roll strips to make a baby quilt for a baby boy. I did buy the special ruler, and I'm glad I did - made it so much easier.[ATTACH=CONFIG]568690[/ATTACH]

Why? It's just strip sewn then cut with wedge template.....check it out at MSQC..great looking and not difficult. |

Beautiful quilt. And the colors are wonderful! I just finished a top in reds using that pattern. So fun! Have you tried her Heritage Pinwheels? It's a lot of fun too and goes together really quickly.
