What a magnificent quilt. I just love it!!! And I never thought about pinking and washing. Ditto to everyone else's request to see it after laundering. Applique is my favorite... Thanks for sharing.

So very, very nice! Yes, please do post a photo after you wash it so we can all see the pinked edges all frayed. Interesting idea. And I love the checkerboard sashing/bordering.

it's very beautiful! Looks like it took a long time to make. Good for you!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the close up picture, love the detail  |
Flowers are beautiful on quilts and you did it so well. I'm making a quilt where the pieces are sewn on about a quarter inch from the raw edges, then to be washed for fraying. It's called French Roses by Heather French. Very easy pattern and I'm doing it as a Quilt-As-You-Go. Thanks for the close up shot of the pinking. I may try that on another quilt.

WOW ... Worth every hour.

Beautiful and can see why it took you so long to finish. There's a lot of time and love in it. After you wash it and the edges fray I'd love to see another picture of it.

A beautiful quilt
