Made this checker board for my Daughters day care childern. Still need to make more checkers yet. the other color will be blue like the pink checkers.

I have an emboirdery machine and I went in there and got the pattern for a circle and emboirdery, than put lay of cotton fabric and than some very stiff stablizer and backed it with the same farbic. than cut them out.

I made one with pink/blue squares for my DD when she was pregnant with first child - use pink/blue diaper pins (remember those??!) for the checkers

I'm sure the kids will love it. I made one for my granddaughter (and for the small table where we have breakfast.) It's pink and green and the reverse side is a tic tac toe board. We made yo's for checkers. It's even survived a blackberry syrup spill.
