Very cool!! Nice and colorful.

I think its called PRETTY cool, colorful and if you pieced the blocks on paper its called strip piecing or foundation piecing, sort of like a string quilt. In anycase it looks like it was fun to make and I am sure the recipient will love those colors!

Actually, since the paper is used just as a space to fill, it would mainly be considered foundation pieced.
