Hi everybody, I sure miss being on here lately... Hopefully I will be able to get on more soon. PaintMeJudy posted a request for me: http://www.quiltingboard.com/request...s-t286234.html ,and here are the quilts we have received so far. They are being donated to the Chemo Unit of the Cancer center in Orlando, FL where I am receiving my treatments. Thought you might enjoy seeing them. A big thank you to all...

Beautiful quilts for a very worthy cause.

Lovely quilts sure to bring a bit of loving sunshine in the midst of the storms of life. It takes so much courage to go through chemo and the brave souls who do need the uplift of outreaching love from others. These quilts fit that description.

Jan, it is so nice of you to want to comfort the others going through this battle with you. They all look beautiful and I pray that they will indeed bring comfort to all who receive them.
Nice contributions... I'm sure they will provide comfort to those in need. Thanks for sharing.
Question - what is the best size? And what kind of batting do you use?
Beautiful quilts. I also had cancer in 2007. Since my cancer, I have been volunteering at the YMCA here in Massachusetts Monday and Wednesday night for their program Live Strong. On Tuesday nights I volunteer for their program Live Stronger. It's a great program. Jan when your ready, I hope there's a Live Strong program in your area. You meet so many people going through the same as you, their friendship keeps you going, for your future.
Great quilts and for such a worthy cause. I also love the fact that they are not pink and do not have the cancer ribbons. While many want that in their quilts, it is nice to offer alternatives.
The quilts are all gorgeous & will be so appreciated. Hope you are doing well. Keep us posted
