That is so cute, do you think a person could do it on a sewing machine, since I dont have a long arm? I would love to try one. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks for sharing, I don't have a long arm, but am grateful for the info on doing the 4 panel layer "just in case" I ever want to try this on my regular machine. COOL! ;)

How beautiful!! Could this be done on a regular sewing machine? I would love to learn how to Chenille a quilt. Does anyone know where I can get the instructions?

"Cut 3/8" channels". Does that mean that you sewed 3/8" channels and then cut them?
I can't wait to do this. It is awesome!!!

Its four identical cotton panels.

Awesome! I am going to have to try this! So just to be clear. Its for identical panels laying the same direction. Is there batting between the bottom panel and the backing? And how many of the layers are you cutting through as you do this to make the chennel?

There are 4 identical panels, batting and backing. You only cut through 3 of the panels. I used the Olfa chenille cutter and cut 3/8" channels.

Yes, sew 3/8" channels and the cutter will cut down the middle of it.
