:-D :-D :-D I made this from a pattern that I've had for years and years. I no longer have the magazine or book that it was in, but I do have the pattern and it is so yellow that it is falling apart. I'm going to have to trace out another pattern. Any way you put a small basket in it and then put in some buns or busquits after cooking them to keep them warm. I stuffed it with plastic bags so it would stand upright for the picture. It is made out of prequilted fabric and regular fabric for the lining and there is elastic in the hem of it. I got the eyes on a little wonky, but that couldn't be helped. I do have those moving eyes that you glue on, but I don't have a clue as to where they are. I'll find them one of these days. Well here is the chicken, Enjoy, Huggies, Fay

hee-hee, I was wondering how you warm a chicken's buns.

Your chicken is adorable. What are the chances of getting a copy of the pattern? I know of some who would love one for Christmas.

After I get back from Seattle next week I might do a tutorial on it or some thing, but I have to redraw out the pattern because mine is so yellow that it is falling apart. going to Seattle Monday and will be back some time Tuesday evening so won't get to it until later in the week. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

I made several of those about 20 years ago, for my sisters' husbands! Some things are so old that they are new again; thanks for sharing and for those of you who have not made this, adaptions would make a turkey or a rooster as well as the hen so nicely presented.

So cute! Thank you for sharing :D:D:D
