I bought a fish book panel at the LQS and made a quilt for our guild's charity. We were limited on the size so I added small blocks between the pages and FM some pictures on them so they would blend in with the book. I am no artist :| but for a little one, I think it will do just fine. I need a lot more practice on my FMQ but I am getting there. I got some Debbie Mumm fabric at Joann's for the back that reminds me of bubbles. Hope you like it.

That's really cute! I love the way you offset the blocks. Nice quilting too!
|
Adorable quilt!! I LOVE your FMQ designs :D:D:D

I'm really appreciating the way you staggered the blocks; it tightens up your overall layout, bringing the pages of the book closer to each other. Very nicely done.

This is wonderful. I bought a child's book panel before Christmas that I didn't get around to, and not I know exactly what I need to do with it. Thanks for the inspiration!
