When I do small ones, I will do two sets of all the fabrics sewn in to panels. Press one set up, the other down. cut half of your sub cut from panel # 1 the other half from the other panel. When sewing the cuts together having one with the seams press up and the other down helps nest the seams together. Once the quilt is finished, I press all the last seams to one side. |

Looks like the strips were 2 in. and the sub-cuts were one from 1 inch to 3.5 |

i am envious.. as i am quilting the purple and blue bargello it's a hard tug and push and pull... i was thinking of you with a new gadget.. all set up..running smoothly... singing while you worked !!! i hope it works out for you !
