They are wonderful! I know it's already been asked, but can you tell us the name of the pattern and where you found it. I haven't tried paper piecing in a year or so--I tried a very tiny complicated pattern when I was new to it and crashed and burned. I'm ready to jump back in after seeing your adorable trees.

mhansen6 10-20-2011 11:59 AM

That is beautiful. Can you share the pattern please?

Country1 10-20-2011 12:06 PM

Jennifer22206 10-20-2011 12:57 PM

those are gorgeous. I think you should do placemats. :)

Are they from here: http://forestquilting.com/paperpiecing_free_pg1.html

greencat 10-20-2011 12:59 PM

Great idea with all the different colors!
There is a similar tree at www.piecebynumber.com (pine tree)
Looks like it has more branches.

skowron5 10-20-2011 01:00 PM

I live in Michigan does that mean I am your friend? LOL

Rose L 10-20-2011 03:16 PM

They appeared in McCall's Quilting Nov/Dec 2009

They sure are pretty! Yours look better than the ones in the magazine.

I really like the trees that Delta has made ... though I think they would be shown much better with a more conservative border than is in the pattern. Yes, JIMHO!

PWinston 10-20-2011 04:39 PM

Unusual Christmas colors but I love all of them.

ube quilting 10-20-2011 04:40 PM

Ok. After you finish the place mats, make the quilt too!

goosepoint 10-20-2011 04:42 PM

They are awesome. Pattern please - pretty please???

debcavan 10-20-2011 04:43 PM

They are really cute. That pattern reduced would be a great Christmas Card pattern.

Highmtn 10-20-2011 04:48 PM

Ok.. I have a plan! .

Let's draw straws and who EVER lives the closest to Delta has to go over to her house, politely knock on her door and tell her to GO CHECK HER Quilters Board " Christmas of Color" post....

Great trees, great colors! Love your use of non-traditional tree colors. They would be beautiful any way you choose to use them.

I love these. Can you tell us the name of the pattern and where we might find it? I see many possibilities for this design -- tote bags/purses for one. A Christmas quilt would be beautiful as well as a table runner.

tlstick 10-21-2011 03:32 AM

on this site I think when you open to save the size might work as a mug rug....I know nothing about computers but looks like the size will be printed out as shown.

Those are precious, I haven't tried paper piecing, I have looked and thought, but I can't get my head around it. I need visual, so I will have to watch first, but those are so cute cute.
