Christmas Gifts -- DONE!
 

I made four purses for DD, SIL and DILs. One is already mailed, but the other three are posing for their first photo here. They are on long straps intended to be worn across the body. It's Vogue pattern 8407.

The fabrics include quilting cottons, drapery-weight cottons, one Irish linen, and a few upholstery remnants. Zipper pulls were handcrafted from old beading supplies. The detachable straps came from purses I bought for $1 to $4 at thrift shops. The purses were donated back without the shoulder straps.
