Patricia- I have a Brother SE350 that does the embroidery, but I know all the craft stores that carry embroidery supplies have the patterns for redwork, I can't remember the name of the most common one but they are in yellow and white envelope style packaging. And I get most of the patterns for my machine from "designs by JUJU" on line.

Oh I don't think the toile makes it too busy at all! I think it is a fabulous transition form the embroidery squares to the solid red. Very pretty!

I like your first picture, too.....toile next to the redwork, very complimentary; I'd bind in red.

nope, red triangles next to redwork and toile above and below works well. go for it. lovely work!!

I like option one and two. It really shows off your work.
