That is so cute -- I love the pattern too! :D

We make lots of charity quilts, small to large, so this would be great for that. Love the idea of getting a top done in a couple of hours, and using large prints. Thanks. Can you tell me what size the pieces are?

It looks like a disappearing nine patch, and each part of the foundation nine patch looks to be six inches ... maybe a bit bigger, since ... say like seven inches? because of the 1/4" seam allowance, your 7 inches becomes 6.75" on first seam ... then you make the cuts ... mix em up and sew back together - - now block is 6.5" ... and then you join the blocks together ... now the block finishes at 6.25" ...
What a good idea of a quick, fun, fast, easy lap robe! Good job! <wave> |

This is a pretty straight forward of the technique and you will enjoy it, I am sure! Javin 22! Thank you for posting your picture for inspiration, and bringing this fun technique to the top of the list, again. |

the blocks are 8 1/2 square and the strips are 4 1/2 by 8 1/2. It is done in strip fashion. Really easy. The Pattern is called Likety Split by Mackie . Here is a link http://madhattersquiltbox.com/licketysplit.aspx

This is a wonderful quilt, I love it.
I'm amazed at the time it took too  :D I might be able to use those fabrics with the bigger patterns on now, that sitting on a shelf... with all the other stuff that's waiting on the shelf lol. |
I absolutely love that. Big florals are my favorite. That is a great pattern to use them in. Great job on your quilt.
