Christmas mini quilt

1 Attachment(s)
I have been helping a friend learn how to quilt. She made this little mini quilt. The lights are one of those blinking necklaces, so the tree lights up. It is really a pleasure to be able to help her, because 5 years age she nearly died of a brain aneurysm. I didn't think I was going to be able to do anything with her. This last May she lost her husband, so quilting might help keep her busy.

That is very sweet of you to take time to teach her to quilt. That will give you something in common to talk about, eh?

Very cute and so good of you to help her. I agree quilting at this time in her life will help her keep busy. It is my answer to everything.

Very cute. Like the idea of the lights. And what a wonderful person you are!!!! Nice that you share your love of quilting with someone else, and it sounds like something she needs and will treasure.

That's a darling tree! I love the lights. I'm sure your friend will get "hooked" like the rest of us - And it's excellent therapy!

Really cute and it is sooo very nice of you to help her find a hobby, am sure this will certainly inspire her to do more, nice that it was small, she could see something completed in not too long a time. God Bless you both.

Just noticed the "eh" in your comment. Are you a fellow Canadian?

Very thoughtful of you to teach your friend to quilt especially at this time of her life. Quilting tends to take a person's mind off their troubles for a little white. God bless you!
