Adorable! I always add at least a dozen new ornaments each year. I think I will glean your idea and make some of these for my tree. I already have the buttons, lollipop sticks and cellaphane.....now I need to choose some fabrics.

Really cute, I really want to make some but......the two yo yo's are they sewn together back to back? How does the stick stay in? Maybe dumb questions, sorry.

Have you decided how you will hang them on the tree.

Would also be cute as a pin on a sweater, etc.

Such a great idea. They are too cute.

lots2do 07-11-2011 03:08 PM

Lynnie,
Thanks so much! I always make something for my schoolkids at holidays, providing that I don't have anyone whose religious beliefs prohibit that. I found some red and pink plastic lollipop sticks at the local party store today. Twenty to a pack, I should have bought two packs!

Quilter54 07-11-2011 03:37 PM

Thank you. I will have to make some of these. They are so cute. I made angels from yo-yo's a few years ago. If I can find one I will post picture. Made them for Christmas for our church.

Jammin' Jane 07-12-2011 12:24 PM
