the quilt is my 5th quilt i have ever done. just did outlining. and here is my first actual piece work. i can say that i finally quilted something. doesn't that tell you i am a newbie?

i got the material from walmart. i have also gotten the prequilted xmas sock from hancocks that i have finished and a pillow pattern. i just haven't dug them out for pictures yet. i also have more elvis material and still have a couple more that i want to get. the trick or treat bag is cassandras pattern.

Oh, I can really appreciate that Elvis quilt, I saw him the first time he ever appeared on TV.....the Ed Sullivan show. Now does that date me or what??? lol lol

You did a really nice job on that, your Mom is going to be thrilled. Bet she wants to hang it on a wall. Your grands will sure love those bags!

my mom was born 3 days before elvis. i think that she has liked him since that time too. when he was on the ed sullivan show.

yes the fabric is fairly new. cranston village makes the fabric. on their site they have some the fabrics that they have. but their is more patterns. hancocks has an apron and also a tote bag. they now have some of him in military uniform and one with dog tags. you will just have to look around. not all of the walmarts carry all of the elvis patterns. like i said hancocks carries some too and some of theirs is different that i have not found at any of the walmarts. there is xmas elvis also. i think i was loking at one of the link resources and found something different there too.

i know my mom wishes you had a picture like that too. my uncle is also a big fan of elvis.

Oh wow an original elvis autograph If she will let you phograph it or cop just think of the things you could make by transfering it to fabric......I still love his songs he had a great voice and reall :D y sang
