Christmas quilt for stuffed animals
 

I told my 8 year old son we could do a quilting project together he drew out the design for a Christmas quilt for his stuffed animals. It ended up that he directed more than helped with sewing, but that's ok we had a fun time. I should've calculate the HST better but for the first time with no pattern, not too bad.

OK. couldn't load from my phone so had to kick the kids off the computer :)

One is the design Travis drew. Then the whole quilt and then closeups. He wanted it puffy so I used polyester batty (that I don't like to use to hand quilt) and doubled it up. Quilted in the ditch with green thread. He did help some with the sewing machine but I think I went too fast and freaked him out

here is the back of the quilt. He loves penguins.
