Nice Christmas snowflake quilt.

Evelynquilts 11-30-2015 05:51 PM

very pretty quilt :)

IBQUILTIN 11-30-2015 07:25 PM

Very nice work. I have learned that if I quilt heavily, a quilt is not as warm as one quilted just a little less. The insulation factor for the batting loses itself when quilted so tightly

matraina 11-30-2015 08:12 PM

Love your quilt and your quilting, too!

Bluebonnets 11-30-2015 09:47 PM

I love this. The Christmas colors on white is so crisp and clean. The pattern is wonderful in it's simplicity and I have to say, the quilting looks great even though it gave you some grief it looks like you won out!

Cornerstone quilter 02-07-2016 11:09 PM

Did you get the complete pattern? All I found was week 1- making the blocks. Would love the pattern!

QM 02-08-2016 01:02 AM

I love it. The quilting looks great from here.

Hi Cornerstone,
If you click on the link right under the Week One Quilt Along, you will get a 9 page PDF that gives the complete quilt pattern.

Cornerstone quilter 02-08-2016 09:39 PM

I opened the link. On page 9, it says 'Come back next week for directions to assemble your quilt top.'

You are correct! Thought I was helping. Sorry about that, I just saved it and didn't read page 9 until now. Could you put it together by viewing the photo?

nunnyJo 02-09-2016 05:48 AM

wow, love it

Cornerstone: I am not a quitter! I went back to search for the missing info we both need. On the top of the very first page after you click on the link there is a " Projects" button. When you click that one the Quilt Alongs come up. Weeks, 1, 2 and 3 are all there. Sincerely hope this helps.

Cornerstone quilter 02-09-2016 11:25 PM

Thanks so much Marnie, for your persistence and searching. I found the tutorial but can't find any pdf to download for week 2 & 3 like they provided for week 1. I'll just have to hope it's all still available when I can get to make the quilt.

You are very welcome. I am not ready to make my quilt yet either. Good Luck to both of us when the time comes! Happy stitching!

If you go to the link that Maniac Quilter offered, and click on Free Patterns, then scroll down to the Christmas Snowflake from Bernina pattern, it will also allow you to see weeks 2 & 3, and you can download your pattern info from there.

Cornerstone quilter 02-11-2016 10:47 PM

You are right-you can see weeks 2 & 3 but there is nothing that allows you to download any pattern or instructions. I copied and pasted it all into wordpad and saved the document. I have my own pdf of the tutorial now. Thanks for your help.

jillmc 02-12-2016 04:20 PM
