I just looked at your stocking again and noticed that you did some handstitching also! (shows how little I notice, eh?) That is a really nice touch. And, I think your binding on the curves is just fine.
After you have made a dozen of these stockings, you will be a REAL pro, but it sure likes it won't take you that many to nail the technique.
I think you did a good job on the whole project.
