Christmas swap of 2010 blocks almost finished
2 Attachment(s)
I joined a swap, santas, snowflakes and snowmen, many things have changed in my life, now almost ready to sew 2 of them together this afternoon. I would like to thank each quilter who exchanged a block or two with me.
Two different quilts and will be gifts for 2 grandaughters. Thanks for looking and hope I can download these pictures. I am adding strips in between |

looking good! I have a big pizza box full from a christmas swap I won. I look at them every couple of years and admire them, then put them back ;)
Now I don't even do christmas anymore..I should stick them up for swap! |
QuilterBarbara, congratulations on bringing Swap Blocks to a grand finish! (almost there)... Both are very nicely arranged... but in particular I am very interested in the 4-Point Snowflake blocks that LOOK like they are either tatted or crochet. Can you tell me how they are made? Also some 6-point snowflakes (white) in the upper quilt photo. They could be painted on? Maybe too too detailed for applique. I would like further instructions so that I can make some!!! They are beautiful!!

I was in a snow man block swap 4-5 yrs ago. I moved shortly after I got mine and my sister and BFF packed my sewing room up for me. I came across them once since then and now can't find them anywhere. I know they are here somewhere and hopefully next time I locate them I will immediately sew them together and make quilt top. As I get older I really tend to forget where I put things more frequently but am sure I am the only one who ever suffers from this affliction. lol
