Hi
the skirts were really nice. What was the name of the pattern you used for the second one? Thanks.

They are both beautiful tree skirts, I'm sure your daughters will appreciate them especially each Christmas.

the second one (the blue one) is a disappearing nine patch.

I would like to make a skirt, though, and only 3-4 hours to make sounds divine. Do you have measurements for the skirt?

I made nine 12 inch blocks and about 6 inch borders around for a total of 48 inches. These tree skirts could really be any size you want them to be though.

Those are great. I wonder if I made the center hole bigger, folded it in half and tacked it just a bit about 3/4 of the way up, would that work for a shoulder warmer for a patient in a wheelchair?

Nice, I like the pattern.

My goddaughter's are both now 30. When they were in high school I made them tree skirts. They were not quilted but lined and lot's of work! I was visiting with one this past holiday and she mentioned how she has very little in the line of decorations but she has the skirt I made her. Because of the pain in making them I never made one for myself. I love your square pattern and design. I now will have to make on for myself. Than you!
