Janice E. If you are going to make them for next year start collecting decorations now. You can pick up the small christmas decorations at the after Christmas sales and other things through out the year things like jewelery, tiny toys decorations. For some of the gifts under the tree I cut up pieces of styrofoam and wrapped them with Christmas fabric, I fussy cut out figures from fabric, like the Raggety Ann dolls and the stuffed bear sitting under the tree. There are so many things you can use to decorate.

They are both fantastic. I love what you did. For the lights did you use the miniature lights and just string them on the quilt? They are both very clever.

The lights are called Rice lights (they are the size of a grain of rice) it is hard to find the multicolored ones, you can find clear or white online, you need a strand of 100.

Nancy's Notions has a kit with colored lights but the way you did it way cheaper. I did order the kit from Nancy and I do love the tree. Appreciate the info on the web site for the lights. Will use it to order some. Really love the quilts you did.
