I started a new job last Monday, but I managed to get this wall hanging finished. I haven't started anything else, which explains why my sewing area is still halfway organized

This is just a Dresden plate wreath with some border fabric and a fabric bow stitched on in a few strategic places. I sprayed the ends of the bow with some sizing, then wrapped them around a couple of kk2000 cans until they dried to get some curl in them.

I should be able to keep this to decorate with this season as long as DD doesn't take a liking to it!

Your wall hanging is elegant. I love the colors. And the wreath is unique.

OK,
What is sizing?
Is it like starch?
I have been told that on piecing, I should starch to keep from stretching.
Thanks,
Kirsten

Since no one has picked up on this I'll give you my take on it. I think sizing gives body to the fabric, but not stiffness. Starch gives a little crispness to the fabric. If you want the fabric stiffer, let the fabric dry after an application and spray again. Continue until the fabric has the desired stiffness. OK, you experts. Help me out here. Am I close?
