OMGosh, this is totally awesome, my 3 year old grand daughter has decided that she loves dragons and dinasaurs. Looking for a pattern to make her a quilt

Is't that the cutest! I really like how you made and shaded the mountains. It shows what an artist you are.

franie, can you let us know who made the pattern? or if there is a web address on it to check it out?

franie 07-16-2010 08:10 AM

I went to look for my pattern and I can't find it either. It is supposed to be with the fabric and I can't find either one. So this means I have to get my life in order in my sewing room!

The pattern is from Bear Paw Productions (Brenda Henning) and is actually called Chugach Pines.

That is absolutely stunning....I love the way you have worked all those meaningful things into one gorgeous quilt. I have a passion for dragons myself....as our family comes from "dragon country". Thanks for sharing and once again WOW!

sue in ca .... i made them over a period of 2 and a half years. umm, 14 quilts in all, then the last coupla years i've had a problem getting my machine on and off my table and haven't made any. but, i'm about half-way through getting my sewing center together, so pretty soon, i'll be quilting again!

pennyswings 07-18-2010 05:25 PM

Received a reply from Brenda Henning this morning - you can still request the pattern from Bear Paw Productions even thought its not in the catalog. She is considering reprinting.
I am ordering my pattern immediately, thanks to all of you

Mariposa 07-26-2010 05:37 PM

Nice quilt! You did well in choosing the colors. I have this pattern also, but have not made it. Now I am inspired to do so!

Rag Quilt Cottage 07-26-2010 07:49 PM

There aren't enough dragons on quilts - well done!

leakus 07-28-2010 07:07 PM

I bought the pattern on e-bay for less than 3 dollars including shipping. I am so exited, as soon as I have time I'll start choosing the fabrics. As I learned from a quilter here at the board, I'll put it in a shoe box, pattern adn fabrics and save it for later. Right now I don't have time to work on it but loved it!
thanks for sharing
