I have watched as you showed us your progress. Now, like others, I am blown away by your finished quilt. I do not know how you did it! It is soooooo beautiful.

Such a beautiful quilt! I hope it does stay at the church.

I have semi-mastered 1/8" bias tape making. NOTE: Do not use Kona fabric to make it though, its tooo thick. I had the best luck with a muslin weight black and heavy spray starch. I started out hand sewing the strips onto the quilt but had to switch to machine sewing them on to make up for lost time. I actually like the look of them both.

Learned a lot while working on this larger quilt that will make the two smaller ones go easier as well. I am going to have just as much fun making them.

Well the auction is tomorrow so I will let you know how it goes. I have heard rumors that it will probably not leave the church. There are several who want to go in together to buy it to have it hang in a classroom in the new part of the church. Everyone is really excited about it. I hope it does well.

I hope you all have enjoyed watching this come together. I certainly have. The lead lines really changed the look. Thank you for stopping by today.

Blessings & Happy Quilting

I have never in my life seen anything so gorgeous!
