Churndash quilt top finished

I got the flimsy done and got them all put together correctly. I have to stop and get about four top to get together with batting and backs and quilted. I usually finish one before starting another and I better get back on track. Thanks for looking

Cute top!👍

I am impressed with how many tops you have finished lately. Looks great!
|
I hope they are all put together correct, I looked and you have a secondary pattern and it gets you confused when you are looking at the picture.
|
Janie , it is because I have not cleaned my house, just sewed!
|
Pretty fabrics and lay out. Fun secondary patterns with the blocks and I don't any that are turned wrong. Why should we clean when we can sew?
|
It sure turned out pretty! https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...es/thumbup.png
I'm with Rhonda - why should we clean when we can sew? :) |
Beautiful, I love the colors.
Quilts will last a lot longer than a clean house. I have relaxed my cleaning also. Dust on tables, etc. preserve the surface, my new saying and I am sticking to it. |
Someone on here has the tag line - the only place housework comes before quilting is in the dictionary.

Beautiful! I love the bright colors!

Another beautiful finish Suz, you have been so productive! I love the colors you chose, so bright and happy.
|
Great finish Suz...I like the secondary pattern that showed up, having only seen one row early on. I also like your focus print...
You’re on a roll...housework, shmousework....quilting is much more fun. |
That does look like a challenge to lay out correctly. I cannot see any mistakes, if there are any, I don't think anyone will notice. I really like the bright colors, very springish looking. Great job Suz.
As far as cleaning house, isn't that secondary to quilting in a certain sense. I am gearing up to spring clean, I like to wait for the woodstove to be totally finished before I do the deep cleaning of spring cleaning, otherwise, it's a weekly dust, floors and bathrooms routine that works for me and allows me time to sew too. Gotta balance work and pleasure, and sometimes the pleasure just outweighs the work temporarily. https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/hunf.png |
Glad you overcame your mistake. Pretty colors.
-It's only a mistake if you refuse to correct it. |
Very pretty colors and nice contrast for letting the secondary patterns show up. Well done!

That’s really pretty! I love that pattern.
|
Great top!
sewing stays done....the dust keeps coming back! |
Falling in love all over again with the Churn Dash. Your twist and turns are after my heart.
|
Very pretty. Love the way you get a second pattern out of the churn dash. Great workmanship
|
That is a very pretty quilt! I have had a churn dash on my bucket list for awhile now, just love them!
|
I love your quilt, great colours! I plan to make one this year, I love traditional blocks
