Circle Bargello Grand Prize at our local Quit Show
3 Attachment(s)
[Haven't posted in a long time but want to share a picture of my entry to our local quilt show. This circle bargello was made for my g-grandson for his high school graduation present this year. I hadn't won any thing at our show for several years and was surprised to see the purple ribbon when I went to pick up the quilt.
I've made several circle bargellos and always set the center straight but my husband suggested I put it on point this time and I think that is what makes this one unusual. I had made my grandson a red, black and white one several years ago and had saved all the left over fabrics. Came in handy for this project. Would love to see a pic of the whole quilt. |

I am not surprised it won, gorgeous! I love how you matched the center applique and the circle quilting!

Awesome! I am not surprised that you won. That is beautiful. Congratulations.
Guess I didn't wait long enough for you to post all the pics. My bad. |

Beautiful Quilt and I agree with your husband, I find I favor quilts on point rather then square. Congrats on your quilt
