Classic quilting on another kitchen towel

1 Attachment(s)
I posted the chicken painted and quilted on on of my 102 year old Mother's kitchen towel a few days ago. We lost Mom last summer. The other project was for my niece. This one is for my sister in law who was so good to Mom My sister in laws kitchen is decorated with greyed blues. A wild chicken would go with all her cats decorations so I decided to go classic. It needs to be bound yet. One more day to Christmas.

Confession: Those perfect ovals are done with a groovy board. The feathers are all free motion. A groovy board is used on the back side of a longarm. A stylus is put into a groove and you move the machine and the machine is guided by the groove. It is just a matter of lining it all up and thinking up designs. There wasn't room for 3 full ovals so I did partials on the end..

If I understand correctly the towel was your Mom's...if so quilting it for a wall hanging is a fantastic way to remember her. Your quilting is magneficent!
