I love your heart scrappy quilt! How very sweet it is.

OhCanada 06-02-2015 09:05 AM

I like your scrappiness! Who will be the lucky recipient? Or do you get to keep this one?

onaemtnest 06-02-2015 09:56 AM

What a delightful way to use your scraps! :0)

Here's how the block looks. It's a heart block and it's on point.

I was merely guessing, but I did it by using 2" squares for finished size of 1.5" squares. The block finishes at 9".

nannyrick 06-02-2015 11:52 AM

Oh so pretty!!! I love it. Thanks for showing it. As purple passion asked, "is there a pattern for this?"

I love scrappy quilts. I have a lot of scraps( they reproduce when I'm not in my sewing room). haha Thanks for sharing the pattern. I will definitely put this one on my "to do" list.

twinkie 06-03-2015 02:26 AM

What a darling quilt.

2manyhobbies 06-03-2015 04:00 AM

Just beautiful. Isn't it strange about stash, though? The minute a person starts cutting it up, it multiplies.

onaemtnest 06-03-2015 04:27 AM

Thank-you justflyingin for taking the time to post this EasyDraw example for those of us that who wanted to see how the block could be replicated.

Geri B 06-03-2015 04:50 AM

That is a fun quilt!

IBQUILTIN 06-03-2015 08:56 AM

Great scrap buster. What a perfect idea for a baby quilt. Now that I am getting GGKs I am looking at quilts differently. I have all but a few of the patch pals ready for them, but need a couple more. Those are sure fun to do.

Annz 06-03-2015 09:19 AM

Very nice... I didn't think you had cleaned out all your stash. No one ever does.

calabella 06-03-2015 10:44 AM

I just love it. Would you please tell us the pattern. This would be great for my little grand daughter's first big bed. I would so love to make it for her. Thank you.

I just read all the posts and see where a diagram is posted. Thank you so very much. Off to gtet my scraps together.

MargeD 06-03-2015 10:57 AM

rosiewell 06-03-2015 11:06 AM

Beautiful quilt, great colors. I love piano key borders. I use them a lot.

Yevcam 06-03-2015 12:19 PM

This quilt,or one very similar, is on the cover of Quilter's World, August, 2005. It is called "Scrap-Patch Hearts".
The pattern might still be available at Annies.com.

Sharonquilts 06-03-2015 01:04 PM

Karen Mc 06-03-2015 03:09 PM
