I'm guessing the peach star is the Hunter's Star? I'll have to Google Hunter's Star to verify though. LOL. It is beautiful!

I used the Hunter Star pattern but instead of the triangles connecting the star there was an alternate option of a square. The trapezoids w/the diamonds on each end are then sewn around the square. I'm trying to check to see if that is called a Hunter's Star. I got the idea because I was working on another Hunter Star in my carry along hand sewing bag!

It is hard to see the stars because the eye is drawn to the dark fabric. It's still a very pretty design.

It looks like a beautiful Persian rug. Just lovely.

The use of the square in the center is not my first but my first with the square as a focus fabric. The first time I used the same fabric for everything but the stars. They seemed to be floating.

RW&B is fast becoming my favorite. But creating a quilt is becoming as birthing a baby, they are all my favorites!
