Cloth Boxes --my interpretation
4 Attachment(s)
I saw some boxes posted I think yesterday, so I looked up the pattern and tried it out. I think you can see in the photos that I left my corners on the outside, then flattened them and stitched them across the top of the triangle. I also stitched a fold around the outside of the box's bottoms--I just went from corner to corner on each side, working from the bottoms of the corner triangles. I liked the button finish --think these will be Christmas gifts for some of the granddaughters.
Here is the link to the pattern. http://www.quiltingboard.com/links-r...ml#post6311955 |

I like your touch on these fabric boxes!

These have certainly been a hit. I have just finished making one which I have posted a picture of.
I like your version also. Well done. |
I haven't gotten mine finished, but I was thinking of leaving the corners on the outside, too. I think that if I just tack the upper corners of them, they might make additional storage for small scissors and such.

Looks good.

I do love corners on the outside. I wasn't so much of a fan of the corners tucked inside. It seemed like they took up too much space inside the box.

They are great!!
