If you put some plastic breads,fruits or something like chexmix in it for the contest they will have a great visual...What a good idea! good luck!

This is so cute but where is the pattern? Did you make it up yourself just from looking at the dog bowl?

I followed some of her directions but wanted it out of cloth...I never seem to follow directions and just do what I want to, lol.

You could make this out of any fabric to match a holiday.

You could also make smaller ones (like the dog bowl size) for others to use also.

The stiffer the liner the easier it is to crease them. The batting was pretty soft but I wasn't going to let it beat me.

Thanks for all the nice comments. The contest won't be over until the end of October so it will be awhile....knowing me I'll forget too :)

Dropped off the bowl at the LQS... the clerk commented it sure was unusual.
