Woo hoo!! That is a wonderful quilt!
|
If it were me - I would probably use varigated or metallic thread - possibly elegant long feathers in the colored portions and maybe some trapunto in the negative space. Now, I would also like the pattern, can you give us a name or designer?

That is a keeper. I absolutely love it. Nice job. Don't have a clue as to how I'd quilt it. I'm sure it will turn out nice.

I liked this quilt so much, I had to look it up to where to get a pattern, and didn't realize that it was a jelly roll quilt! I'm putting this on my "list"

I'm not sure where I got the pattern, but I know that Hancock's of Paducah has it, and I have seen it in quilt shops. Here's the link at Paducah:http://www.hancocks-paducah.com/Item--i-CQD-SRR-CF
I will celebrating the 4th with a couple of my aunts today, also quilters, so hope to get ideas from them also. Thank you for all the nice comments. I enjoyed putting this one together, but can't say that I would make another. So many quilts, so little time!!! |
