The bright reds are pretty, but I, too, like more "old fashioned" colors for Christmas. But then I prefer brighter colors all around and those seem to be hard to find.

I think they are very retro looking. They remind me of pictures I have from the 50s when I was a kid. I like them. I don't buy Christmas fabric. But if I were making a quilt for someone else I would love to use these.

EWWW. I love cranberry and forest and REAL colors (lol) and being almost fifty am stuck on my opinion. I do not care for the retro look.. that looks like etta ames style.. vintage. I collect the old table cloths from the 50s and and when you go just towards the end of the 50's to the 60's the designs and colors shifted in that direction. Blicko is all I have to say. BUT as the old saying goes, there is a rear for every chair and surely it will appeal to a whole lot of people.

Let's face it guys, there are only so many ways a poinsettia, Christmas tree etc, can be portrayed before we're all chiming in... "I already have that or something like it!" And companies can't sell the same old stuff forever.

I've noticed that the 70's seems to be a really popular retro look right now and those fabrics remind me of that time in my life. If I were making table runners or other Christmas projects for my 24 year old daughter and her loft style home, I'd consider this stuff... I truly would. It just won't find a place here in my country casual home!

It's hard to be negative, but I don't like any of them. Just not what I'd choose to quilt with.

I agree. I am old enough to remember when these were "Modern" not "Retro" and I didn't like them then either. I want rich colors with depth and artistry, these are not it. I am sure there are very creative folks out there who will make beautiful projects from these fabrics, I just won't be one of them. ;)

LOL...nothing wrong with oreos, what kind of cookies did you leave for Santa anyway???

I love the second set of traditional prints, I think they would make a really fun and "jolly" looking quilt!

I feel as if the designs are too busy for quilting. The colors are pretty. You are not alone in your taste.

I see the 1960's in the colors. Wasn't wild about them then haven't changed.
