I agree. I think white gives it more dimension - not that the quilt doesn't already have plenty of dimension! Gorgeous either way.

I prefer the red/black but the white boarder mimics the block going from red to white then dark

I like the black and red. The white is just a little to much brite for the quilt for my liking. I'm sure however you choose it will look great.
