Comfy Wrap and a Fall Harvest Panel
2 Attachment(s)
Someone made a thread regarding a fireside snuggler and I remembered I had made these wraps for my family. They were very easy to make. You just use on Jelly Roll. I got the pattern from Moda's website. I can't remember if they called them Comfy Wraps or Pure Comfort. Anyway, that is where I got that pattern from. The Fall Harvest is just a panel that I quilted and hung at our front door. My five year old son really was excited when he saw it hanging there.
Thanks for looking. |
Love the wraps and the wall hanging! Nice job all the way around!

I like the comfy wraps, might be something nice to make for nursing homes. No matter what temp might be in them, some people were just born chillie. Would like to know how you made them if that would be possible.

Here is the website
http://www.modabakeshop.com/2010/08/...mfort.html?m=1 It was very easy directions. :) It is called Pure Comfort. I used warm and natural batting and my backing is flannel :)

Thank you, even have a sister that would like one for Christmas.

Those wraps do look comfy and you have great models. They are beautiful. I love the panel too. It looks great there with your leaves and pumpkin. How fun to have your son appreciate it.

My husband and my son are my biggest fans lol.

All very nice

Thanks so much for posting this, your wraps and models are great!
My mind is just buzzing with possibilities of christmas gifts and maybe using pieced blocks. |
I really like your wrap and have an older sister that would love one of these. I have a question for you. I went to the site given and read quickly through the directions. She says after getting the middle sewn go up 16 strips and mark. If you look she only went up 12. Does she mean 16 inches. What did you do for that part. Thanks
|
love the wrap idea....
nice to all |
Good question. I didnt understand that part either. My husband helped me with that part. We just did what the instructions said, not what her picture shows. The picture is very misleading. But like I said, we followed what her instructions said and it worked just fine for mine.

Love the idea of a "comfy wrap" and the wall hanging is adorable. I think I see a couple of comfy wraps in my future for my family in NY and MA. They may need them this winter. Thanks for the idea and the wonderful photos of your beautiful work.

I think you did a great job on them all. I love the wraps and the wall hanging is so cute.

Beautiful wraps and wall hanging. Thanks so much for the pattern site. As stated they are great for nursing homes and will share with my church sewing group.

You are welcome everyone. And thanks you for all the wonderful comments. I need to make more. My dad and mom used these when they visited us in Florida last week. It actually goes together pretty quickly.
