The pattern is actually called The Easy Stripped Runner. :-) and it uses a 60 degree triangle ruler. :-)[/quote]

Thanks for answering. Is it an Eleanor Burns pattern or like Simplicity or where would I go to find it? My other question about the ruler is what size 60 degree ruler do you use? I saw them for sale from 2 1/2" up to 12". Thanks.

Beautiful!! I have made the round one using that special ruler but haven't tried the long one yet. Loaned my ruler to a friend yesterday so she could try to make one. They are fun to do!!

Very nice and great mitered corners. I just finished a long table runner for my son and DIL and cursed myself for having to make mitered corners on the end of the runner. My fault, my fault, my decision, but will think twice before I do it again.
