Completed Florentine quilt & Fire Island Hosta WIP
9 Attachment(s)
The first quilt is called Florentine. The pattern is by Sew Many Creations. It will be used to raise money for the local group that supports those with autism in my community. My son has benefitted greatly by their school. I donate a quilt to them every year.
I am currently working on a Fire Island Hosta quilt by Judy Niemeyer. I love doing her quilts, she is a genius. The curved piecing has me nervous. I hope the quilt goes together smoothly. I shared my WIP in the hopes that others will share their WIP pictures. They are fun to see. Elise |

Love both quilts.

oh my gosh, I don't think I would ever attempt such a difficult quilt! Yours is going to be beautiful! You go girl!!!

I have a number of Judy's patterns, and was reluctant to try them until I was lucky enough to take a workshop from one of her certified instructors. My first pattern (table runner) is waiting for inspiration for quilting. I can't wait to get started on the next one. The instructions with the pattern were very well laid out. With the tips from the instructor, the curved piecing was easy to do. Good luck with yours. Would love to see your progress as you go.
