This counted cross stitch project was stitched in 1992...I framed it last night
I have a few more to frame. I have to buy the framing materials a little at a time because Michaels puts out 1 coupon per week.      Stitched in 1992 Framed 11-4-2009 |

you do!! :D Your birds are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing with all of us!! :D :D :D :D |
Congrats! Doesn't it just feel good to finally finish a UFO! I always get such a feeling of satisfaction. Do you have a special spot for this or is it going to be a Christmas gift?
FancyFoot, that is really cool! How big is it? I do lots of counted cross stitch, too, and I know how expensive framing can be!!!

This is for me. It will fit perfectly in my computer room that has a tropical bird motif. |
Very nice. I have a cross stitch that I started in 2000 that I need to finish. Maybe I can pick it up next summer
Don't feel bad. I cross-stitched the East Coast lighthouses for my husband several years ago and still haven't framed them. I really should get them done.
Very Pretty!!! I love how the tail of the parrot drops out into the matting!!! :D :D :D
What happy birds!

Thanks Ducky It's 11 x 14 I agree framing IS VERY expensive, thats why I do it myself. This one cost me $15.00 to frame. I try to use standard sized frames, but should I need an odd sized one, I go with sectional frames. They work great :) :) :) |

The Michael's here in Michigan honors both, as long as JoAnn's sells a similar product.
Michaels here will honor JoAnn's fabrics coupons, both mailed, newspaper and email as long as they sell the same type of product. JoAnn's will honor Michael's coupons as long as it is for a similar product. Since Michael's doesn't sell fabric - no discount on fabrics using Michael's coupons.
ooooooooo thats beautiful :D
Beautiful job. :D :D :D
you can also get additional Michael's coupons by signing up for them at their web site.
It is lovely.
I don't do cross stitch....maybe I should try it. Is it hard on your eyesight? ranger |
