Country Big Blocks
1 Attachment(s)
I've been absent for a bit as my dishwasher gave up and flooded my studio in the basement. Didn't do too much damage but it was a dirty tiring job doing it myself. My husband is recovering from a heart attack and still getting used to the zombi meds but he did most the cooking while I did the tossing and washing.
So this is the first customer quilt I've done in a bit. Most of the blocks (parts) were echo quilted AND because I do these things, I put a frog in a canning jar, and the chicken laid eggs, the chicks are all over........ white on white... so my friend will have to hunt for them. LOL But, I think the whole messy experience shook my confidence because I ripped out and redid part of this King. But as always when I take the quilt off the frame.... it looks nice. :) I know (hope) my friend will be very pleased. |
Very pretty. Samplers are one of my favorites. Nice work.

So sorry about your flooding. That must have been a grueling job on top of your husband's recovery. Looks like you are back on track.

I am glad your husband is recovering and that your flooding mess is cleaned up. That is an awful task-but it is all behind you! Your quilt is absolutely beautiful. Samplers are fun because there is so much to look at. I appreciate your sense of humor in hiding things in the quilting-that is just plain fun.
