Country Western Tote Bag
2 Attachment(s)
I just returned from a trip to sunny Phoenix. While there I naturally scoped out a local quilt shop and found this bag pattern (Carpet Bag 2, by Carol Denham). I made the bag with some older upholstery weight fabric that I've had for many years, and a child's leather belt I just picked up at my thrift shop. The size of the bag is quite large - about 3/4 the size of grocery store tote bags, and that is what I will use it for.
I used fusible Pellon interfacing along with the heavier outer fabric, and the bag is study and strong. |
Nice design & I love the belt.

Adorable! I really like the belt with it. It gives it a western flavor with a designer look as well!
