The first one I call my Monster Bag...it was a monster to make, for starters. I wanted something large enough to hold cutting mats and rulers for a retreat but this thing is so darn big that if you put much stuff in there you can't lift it!! And I may have to add a room to the house to have a place to store it!
The second one is much more reasonable...the dark fabric is denim. The pattern called for lightweight fusible interfacing for all pieces, but I didn't have enough. So the denim got lightweight interfacing and I used fusible fleece for the other pieces. Monster Bag Bag for my sister Nancy |
Very nice although I had a good laugh about the large one and adding a room for it.

I like the other one too but that first one ohhhhhhhh baby! lol Those handles are kinda weird. The pattern called for using plastic tubing inside the handles for strength. I didn't have any so I used a couple of lengths of cotton clothesline. They're pretty sturdy handles but difficult to make. |
love your monster bag

I absolute love your monster bag. Been wanting a big bag myself just for shopping. If you decide not to keep it and want to sell it, I'm interested.

I love the fabric you chose! They look very nice.
